This dynamic studio is part of a renowned multinational company based in the region of The Hague, caters for a wide scale of services, ranging from design to production and new media applications.

For this customer we are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer / Account manager, who is also able to advice the customer on design- and new media applications.

You have proven yourself as a sr. Graphic designer – excellent knowledge of the DTP and printing process - have experience in an advisory role for both design and communication. Preferably you have been working (or are) in a creative environment with international customers or a renowned design agency. This is a full time – 40hr/week position.

Your main responsibilities are:

• Guide and advise customers in the area of media solutions and guidelines concerning house style;
• Translate a project brief into a clear plan of approach and steer where needed. This in close co-operation with the customer and in- and external designers and suppliers;
• Responsible for the full lifecycle of a project, from initial briefing to end product;
• Guide external suppliers in the area of design, DTP and print;
• Attract new customers and maintain existing relations.

Candidate profile

• Main competences / qualities / education / experience:
• Minimal BA level education in Graphic Design
• Minimal 5 years of experience in the role of Graphic Designer, outstanding portfolio, especially in the area of house styles and design of annual reports or similar;
• Proven experience in a steering and advisory role with external agencies, suppliers and freelancers;
• Experience (or in co-operation) developing communications strategies is a plus;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language – either native or long term working in an Anglo-Saxon environment;
• Entrepreneurial skills, commercial attitude;
• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office;
• Excellent knowledge of the pre-press and printing process;
• Full time available and – preferably - living in the Haaglanden region.
